    Macdonald over Okami?
    Interesting choice.
I think Okami will attempt to slowly grind Macdonald down and get caught. After watching Macdonald do it live, before he fought in the UFC, to a guy who outweighs Okami by nearly 100 lbs and had a much more brutal ground and pound and better base, I usually pick him to win.

I'm having second thoughts on picking Okami. He's up against a red-headed MacDonald from Nova Scotia. That counts for something, actually.

I still say Okami will do to him what Franklin did.

I like MacDonald but just don't see him as being at that level.

At least against Hominick he was shooting takedowns; that puts him one up on Andy Wang.

And in all fairness, if my ACLs had proven to have all the tensile strength of well-cooked fettucine, I might be a little reluctant to shoot as well.

Apparently assuming that Franklin was at least as smart as Chris Leben was giving him too much credit, but I'm guessing his handlers will have beaten this into his head and made him watch Silva/Lutter about 50 times, so I'm going to take the underdog pick of Franklin by Decision this time.
I don't know if Franklin can take the chance with a takedown now though. After watching Silva wholly dominate Marquardt on the ground to finish him off like he did, I don't know what else Franklin can do. Marquardt is (arguably) one of the best wrestlers at 185, and I'm not sure what Franklin can do much better in terms of takedowns. I think Silva won't beat him from the clinch again, but I think it'll be a definite decision win. I see Franklin trying the ground out, but Silva not giving in for the decision win when he beats Frankling standing. The only question is whether Silva can last 5 rounds though. We know Franklin is tough from his fight with Lousieau but whether Anderson can last that long is still up in the air a bit.

It's tough to evaluate Marquardt and Franklin's takedowns in comparison to each other because they have very few opponents in common, neither have pure wrestling records, and Franklin rarely goes for takedowns. Franklin is a bit bigger and stronger than Marquardt, which may make a difference.

Franklin vs. Silva: I'm 50-50 on this one, I really want both of them to win. I know that sounds stupid, but whatever.

I sooooo want Vera to win by submission in the first round. Remove any doubts that Sylvia should stay away from the UFC.

That's all I really got right now.
