    Hell yeah! Hell no!
When's the last time you saw a form during a fight
When's the last time anyone saw a push up or jumping jack during a fight

Sometimes during a deadly street fight I like to pull out a skipping rope and do a quick 2 minute set.

    Arghh!!!!!!

    1. Sparring is not fighting. When I spar, I do all kinds of things I wouldn't try in a real fight, because I'm learning what may or may not work. I don't know how you spar, but sparring is a training/learning activity, not a fight.

    2. My question implied effective use of forms movements, only an idiot wouldn't see that implication.

    3. A rare occurrence in a fight simply proves that sometimes even the most idiotic techniques work in a fight.

    4. If the stuff in forms actually worked, the fights would resemble those forms, at least on the side of the forms practitioner.
Come on TKDKen, this is just sad. Look... even Ernie is laughing at you.

Also, they're a great way to sell a lot of lessons and not have to actually teach a class.

It's not idiotic to assume that the other person can see the obvious implication in my question and answer in kind. You knew that I meant effective use of horse stance, yet you "baited" the hook for the sole purpose of trolling. If that's the game you want to play, fine. If you want to confuse sparring for fighting, fine. I will respond to your posts the way they deserve to be responded to from now on.

GojuJoe already said it, but c'mon, is there anybody here claiming horse stance is an application rather than a no-equipment strengthening exercise for the lower-body ?
