Actually I think Joe has trained with Bas Rutten (to make sure his moves were semi-realistic, I saw a heel hook at the beginning and the mata leone a couple of times).

I never thought about the pro wrestling/Live Action Role Playing connection, but it makes sense when you mention it. Although I don't know which group should be more insulted by that statement.

A good portion of population are maori and samoan. Certainly generally very strong and have the mentality. Usually really good, easy going guys as well.
About half the guys i train with are maori , samoan or other pacific islanders.
