Living in Seoul, i got to see this on Saturday night and here's a few thoughts.
Hong Man Choi vs. Mighty Mo:
WHAT A PILE OF ****!!!! Mighty mo gets the count for getting put down by a size 17 bott to the balls. This was not one of those ambiguous "maybe it was the thigh or the stomach" hits, but square betweenthe legs. For the next two rounds, Choi gets his head knocked around like a pinata, while offering absolutely no offense. The only impressive thing Choi did, was take those shots and not get knocked the **** out. Oh, ya, and he got the descision. My Muay Thai trainer (korean) who I was at the fight with felt the need to apologize for the bullshit descision, but the korean crowed loved it (not surprisingly, lots of boos from the foreigners)
Remy Bonjasky vs. Stefan"Blitz" Leko
OMFG!!! Leko, a very white dude from germany, chose some gangsta rap for his entrance music, which would be fine in most circumstances. However, this particualr track started out with some dialogue to the tune if "I'M COMING FOR YOU, ******!" Bonjasky controlled the first round until Ledo was put down by a wicked knee. I thought the ref was too quick to count out Leko, but I could just be saying that because I really wanted to see more of Bonjasky in action (sashimi_style: proudly riding Bonjasky's nuts since 2002).
Peter Aerts vs. Ray Sefo
I think Aerts broke Sefo's leg. Can't prove it, it's just what I ws thinking when I watched him hobble around. That Aerts, he kicks like a muthafuka. -

or the fact that he was fighting the biggest fucking can ive seen for a while. the guy was walking backwards, arms at his side, throwing crapass leg kicks. pathetic.
the other fights were good though, shame to see my man dougy get beaten but he can and will come back from that. He only just started kickboxing again last year after a hiatus to do boxing instead for i think 3-4 years, so to reach that level already is an incredible achievement. Poor Sefo looked really unfit and those leg kicks looked fucking PAINFUL.Nick says:

Leko didn't get robbed, so much as he just got screwed out of his chance to keep fighting. It's true he could have continued fighting and scored a flash KO, but Bonjasky was really giving him the business.
the difference between "robbed" and "screwed" you ask?
Mo got fucking robbed. no two ways about it, even a blind nun would know enough about fighting to give Mo the descision. He was robbed just like Koaklai was when Choi made his K1 debut in Seoul a few years ago. Hong-man is a douche for even rasing his arms after that "victory". -
