I train with Bushido and have met Pete Delane once. If you return to this thread I urge you to ignore the advice of those who do not know the Bushido school and find out for yourself. Lessons are more expevsive than other schools but there is no substitute for such intimate tuition.
As for Pete Delane's credentials, they are numerous, impressive and unimportant, to meet the man is to see for yourself.
With regards to Aikedo-Te, it basically meens Aikedo Punch nand as i understand it the idea is that whilst it's all very well twisting people into crazy shapes, it seems a shame not to weaken them with a couple of well placed blows whilst your at it.

Tuti ... ... fruti...
Are you new to martial arts?
Let me quote this from their site:
All students are encouraged to watch other styles, but no student is allowed to train with any other organization. If you prefer them, join them, dont be disloyal to Bushido.
Dude, everyone on this site will tell you that the above quote is like, the ultimate evil in martial arts.
If you did Karate, and wanted to be a realistic fighter, then they should be ENCOUAGEING you to join the local BJJ gym as well... They are retards, if they fought in a ring I would enjoy to hammer them...

Do you speak Nihongo ? Because I do, and believe me when I say that what you apparently understand - is a load of bollocks - Take that from someone with no personal axe to grind against Pete Delane and, as someone who has been studying and teaching a legitimate koryu sword art and a mainline school of aikido for 20 years.
I have to also take issue with the following:As for Pete Delane's credentials, they are numerous, impressive and unimportant, to meet the man is to see for yourself.
Unimportant ? Again to whom ? Would you go to a school where the teacher's credentials are questionable ? would you learn anything from anyone who has "invented" a martial art without first spending the vast majority of their life devoted to the orthodox or mainline ?
So, whilst YOU might consider his credentials as "impressive" and "unimportant" more fool you because those of us with some common sense don't.
And finally, unless English isn't your first language, I suggest you first spell check your posts in future and secondly present the romanized Japanese correctly otherwise all you're going to do is appear totally ignorant of fact.

Wow -- I was doing a little goggle on this guy, and found a whole website dedicated to XBAMA -- kind of like a support group for x students of this place.
Check it out here: http://www.setbb.com/bushido/
