Well the majority of injuries sustained at GQ tournaments are usually self induced in some way shape or form. Usually due to a big ego and not tapping.

Oh, yeah, it's Domino from MAP, hey Wombat and anyone else who missed my name change over there.
I know, you're name was GC before Domino. I'm not that stupid.

What sucks is that I was just at a friggin tournament in Pittsburgh this past weekend, sponsored by the PA BJJ Federation. I'm suprised it even went down, I wonder when this decision was made? GQ/Philly has been scheduled for months! Something fishy is going on. I'm gonna go look up the link for the PA State Athletic Commission, see if I can find anything.

"Just for the record, the PASAC mentioned that they received several phone calls "complaining" about this event and was the main reason they became aware of the show. Good work people, whoever you are. "

who the hell would complain about a grappling tournament they have no obligation to compete in or attend? what is there like a parent's counsel, except instead of bombarding the FCC with calls about dirty language on TV they do it to athletic commissions about grappling/mma?

politics suck, welcome to pennsyltucky. I hope we don't have to wait until December to get comps going again, that's just wrong.

I know a Judo tourney in Philly goes on every year and its a national point tourney called Liberty Bell. IDK why this should come up now.
Judo is only gentle for the guy on top.

Sorry about the derail, but gangrelchilde, where do you train in PA. I'm not that far away and am always curious about other grappling schools in the area.
