    It has to be Bruce Lee, his the best. I really like his concept of Jeet Kune Do. I also find the founder of Shaolin Jow Ga , Jow Long the top martial artist because he beaten everyone in a martial arts competition in china and he was awarded to train the Chinese army.

    accually u r wrong, Shaolin Kung Fu still exist thats beaucse Shaolin r the best in martial arts. thats where many styles originated. nah i dont think bruce is over-rated i think he is very talented in martial arts. only a handful of people can do the 2 finger push up, one-inch punch.

    Martial Arts didn't evolve from Shaolin Kung Fu. As much as I can remember, Martial Arts existed before the first Shaolin temple was built. I might be a little off on this one, but Shaolin Kung Fu was developed as a means of exercise for the monks, not for self defense.

    Of course, anyone is free to correct me if I'm wrong.

    As for Bruce Lee, I agree that he's overrated. While I do give the man credit where it's due, he's not a god or anything.

    Someone should throw in a link to the Unsettled Matters ebook. That really makes you question everything people feed you about Bruce Lee.
