    Thanks for your help guys!
Side note - they know Hope Vitellas, all 3 trained under the same instructor ("Master Lek") and went to Thailand together, so Hope's stuff may not be so bad, it just seems more recreational in focus (as fighting might screw with her music career).

And if Westside is less convenient to you, they could probably give you some perspective on Hope from actual experience.

The way I understood it is that he's currently looking for a certain type of person to join his gym, so I guess it's more of a comfort issue then anything. I don't really know myself but I'll find out early next week and will update thread.

Thanks for all your input guys.

If you'll notice, the Kru at Short North Muay Thai is mentioned right on the home page of ohio mauy thai. I've been to SNMT a couple times and it is a difficult workout but as it's my first time training in any martial art, i really can't answer whether it's "for real" or not. Also, there are several photos of Kru Hope with Master Lek throughout the studio adn I don't think they were Photoshopped.

I don't have a problem believing she trained with whom she said, what I have a problem with is that I can't find anything anywhere about a verifiable fight record on her.

Sorry about the delay. Got a PM about this thread.

Basically neither Ashly nor myself have heard of this girl.

Doesnt mean much. Womens combat sports is only recently becoming even the tiniest blip on the radar at all and if you name off a fair number of women fighters from ye olden days I probably wouldnt know them. But there you go.
