Oh sure, Chuck needs to retire so that Cracky can take his place and show how it is really done. Dumbass.

So does Chuck's training routine involve being hit in the ribs and legs with a baseball bat over and over? I didn't notice him even flinch while being kicked by Jardine. Awesome.

I think chuck still has a few miles left in him.

He looked scared to commit to an attack. Possibly worried about another KO.
He appears to be falling back into his old PRIDE days fighting style where he was a mediocre fighter.
I hope he gets another fight soon, and dominates the hell out of his opponent.
Jardine looked sharp (except for the putting his head down and swinging bit).

Honestly I think he should just retire. He's pushing 40, he's got nothing left to prove. Why keep going until you get smashed?
Get with the program people.
I would also submit that people who think that MMA is just slightly evolved bar room brawling would point to the striking in that fight as Exhibit A.

He went to Cal Poly? He needs to retire from fighting? Hope he saved his money!

Does he has to go back to the board and rethink? Yes.
Does he need to retire immediately after 2 consecutives loses in a 20/5 fight record, loses which were
- preceeded by 7 consecutive wins (including two wins over Couture and one over Jeremy Horn)
- before that preceeded by one loss (against no other than Rampage), one win (over no other than Alistair Overeem), and one loss (against no other than Couture),
- before that preceeded by 10 fucking consecutive wins

The street argument is retarded. BJJ is so much overkill for the street that its ridiculous. Unless you're the idiot that picks a fight with the high school wrestling team, barring knife or gun play, the opponent shouldn't make it past double leg + ground and pound - Osiris
