Starting Muay Thai in 2 weeks
So I have to apologize for misleading you, I'll be interviewing to get into a Muay Thai school (Not sure why!) soon. So I'm trying to prepare my body for the potential pain. Does anyone have any tips on getting ready? I'm not super out of shape, I do cardio every other day (It's not much, I know.) I guess a main thing would be to drop some more weight, and then try to get into the right state of mind.

Jump rope is always good for conditioning, and with two weeks worth, you might feel a little lighter on your feet. Something that's nice. I know with TKD that when I'm consistantly jumping rope, I have a lot more accurate kicks. And with all of the jumping and spinning, that's definitely important.
I'd suggest jump rope because I enjoy it.
There is not a lot you can do in 2 weeks.
I suggest that you run a few miles, do push ups, and do crunches every day.
That is a start.
Don't kick trees.
