I've not seen the Guyver anime, but I have seen the two live action movies ("The Guyver" and "Guyver 2: Dark Hero"). For what it's worth, they were entertaining.
Fun Fact: The guy who played The Guyver/Sean Barker in "Guyver 2," David Hayter, is also the voice of Solid Snake in the Metal Gear Solid series. He also did the final rewrite for the first X-Men movie script. -

Guyver 2 was the best of the live action versions.
Their are some other good anime out there ...Air master is cool but rather short.
Also if your going for just action gotta throw in Baki the grappler.
If you want to try and show your age how about G-Force/battle of the Planets/Gatchaman/Eagle riders or whatever they are calling it now.
And as for DBZ I agree it can drag a bit to much at times but it is stll a great series. My wife hated it a first but after being "forced " to watch it got into it. And my 3yr old daughter will sit there with me and watch it non-stop. -

Hmm... I'm gonna have to disagree on Air Master. I watched three episodes, and I did not find it enjoyable. At all.
However, I am willing to give Baki the Grappler a shot. Although I've heard that he actually doesn't do any grappling, which doesn't make any sense, 'cuz why would you call yourself a grappler if you're just a stand-up fighter and don't go to the ground at all, I mean it's just stupid, why would you--

It's become off topic now, but KempoFist just said Soul Calibur 3 was the best fighting game out there. This may degenerate into me bringing a copy of VF 4 Evo to a throwdown, and I will fail to see the irony, for my nerd rage will be boundless.

YA, Shamalam has been working on the project for quite some time. There is a conflict between him and James Cameron over the title since cameron is making another movie called avatar.( different movie) M. Night has a mixed reputation. He has made the 6th sense and signs, which are considered his best movies. But his latest films aren't as good. The village was really a lovestory / drama, not a horror film. lady in the water was just his ego at work. ( he plays a character whose book changes the world)

As for the live action DBZ movie, I just hope that Hollywood doesn't **** it up like it did with doom. ( I mean, come on, genetically altered monsters! they are supposed to be bad ass demons from hell!)Last edited by boondock lee; 9/28/2007 12:23am at .
