Can't call the results, I suck at that. But damn I hope Lyoto Machida gets his ass kicked. He's fights tend to be really, really boring. And yay for Tyson Griffin on the card, that dude is all the way on the other end of the spectrum.
Curiosity killed the cat. But damn it had a blast.

Chuck should retire after a single loss to the currently most dominant LHW fighter in the world? After he bitchslapped Randy Couture twice and has ended just about every fight he's been in for the past five years with ugly knockouts?

What the **** is this, Sherdog? He loses once against absolute top competition and he's a has-been? I don't like Chuck Liddell, but he is a top fighter and will remain one for a while. Watch him eat Jardine like a sushi roll for confirmation of this fact.

You stole the words right out my mouth. The guy lost for the first time in years of knocking the **** out of people, so now he's a loser - armchair logic FTW :dead:

I do think Jardine has a good chance, though. Can't wait to lift my feet on my coffee table and drink beer while watching these epic battles tonight. **** yeah!

Chuck Liddell Vs. Keith Jardine-Liddell, knockout probably Rd 2
Mauricio Rua Vs. Forrest Griffin-Rua, UD
Jon Fitch Vs. Diego Sanchez-Fitch UD
Kazuhiro Nakamura Vs. Lyoto Machida-My gut says Nak, but my brains say Machida. I'll go with Nak via Decision.
Thiago Tavares Vs. Tyson Griffin-Griffin possible TKO Rd 3
Anthony Johnson Vs. Rich Clementi-Clementi? Dont know Johnson
    Diego Saraiva Vs. Jeremy Stephens=Stephens?
Scott Junk Vs. Christian Wellisch-Junk? Because his last name makes me chuckle
Michihiro Omigawa Vs. Matt Wiman-Leaning towards Wiman, but Omigawa has been in there with some tough competition too. Might be a surprisingly good fight.

Anyway, here are some of Randy Couture's picks, if you havent seen them yet. His Griffin/Shogun selection was pretty interesting. I can see where he's coming from, but I think Shogun may be able to adjust:

    Via The Fight Network

    THE NATURAL PICKS: UFC 76

A regular segment on The Fight Network’s original TV series’ “Before The Bell” and “After The Bell,” Randy Couture has his “Natural Picks” for this Saturday’s UFC 76 “Knockout” - live from the Honda Center in Anaheim, Calif. - locked in.

Here’s what the expert analyst is predicting:

Light Heavyweight : Chuck Liddell (20-4) vs. Keith Jardine (11-4) – LIDDELL

"Somebody’s going down in this one, more than likely Jardine. I think the knockout will come in the first or second, depends on Chuck. If he’s a little tentative at first it may take him a little longer. Jardine’s gonna wade in. That’s what he does.”

    ---------------------------------

Light Heavyweight: Forrest Griffin (14-4) vs. Mauricio “Shogun” Rua (16-2) – GRIFFIN

“I think he’s going to beat him every round. I just think the rules are different, and there’s a few other factors I’m not going to bring to light right now.”

    ---------------------------------

Welterweight: Jon Fitch (19-2-1) vs. Diego Sanchez (19-1)

“Diego makes me pay every time I go against him, but I’m gonna go with Fitch.”

    --------------------------------

Light Heavyweight: Lyoto Machida (10-0) vs. Kazuhiro Nakamura (11-6) – MACHIDA

    “Machida’s gonna beat him up.”

    ----------------------------------

Lightweight: Tyson Griffin (9-1) vs. Thiago Tavares (16-0) - GRIFFIN

“Tyson’s going beat him, It’s going to be the fight of the night again. It’s going to be a brawl.”

Interesting that he picked Griffin over Rua. I want to know what the few other factors he's not going to bring to light right now are.

Isn't Griffin training with Couture's camp now? You don't expect Randy to say: "Yeah, my guy's probably gonna get creamed."
