Thank you for answering the call Sifu Jason. Thank you for addressing something I saw, but as a layman didn't want to comment on. I thought the top picture was a smaller, fatter adult/teen and the second picture was someone different.

When cartilage is gone, it is gone. Leave the diagnosis to a radiologist or a qualified medical doctor thank you.
You are full of it. The menisci cannot be directly visualized by x-ray, nor can cartilage. You need MRI for that.
You can see degenerative decay of the bones on x-ray, usually a result of arthritis (grinding on the bones after the cartilage is damaged).

See my next post--I looked through his message more. He isn't an MD/PhD (besides maybe a first year)--you can't visualize changes in cartilage via x-ray. Go google it for 5 minutes and anyone can find the same information. X-rays for bone damage. MRI for cartilage and menisci.

Hahahaha lol. This is why I LOVE Bullshido. We have so many people, with varying degrees of knowledge, it is ridiculous to try an Appeal to authority.
I do not understand why it is even attempted.
To much time spent on wiki with all the editors claiming to have College educations scaring everyone?

Very nice! Thanks SifuJason for backing me up. When I first joined the site years ago I had no idea the wealth of knowledge and specialties members here had. That point has been proven again.

Tp say the least... I find the below rather doubtful. Funny he doesn't appear with Parker , Castro or Tracy that I can find.
Hmmmm maybe he's a Villari dan rank.......(snicker)
"Some of my styles of Martial study include - Shun Tao, Tai Chi Chuan, Fa jing Chuan, Baguazhang, Chinese Kenpo, American Kenpo, Jujitsu, Ninjitsu, Dim Hsueh, Aikido, Arnis, Kali, Tae Kwon Do, Goju ryu, Judo, Shoot Fighting, Kick Boxing, Jeet Kune Do, and many others.

I don't find that paragraph doubtful at all. What you have to remember is my favorite thing semantics. He is being disingenuous.
Study doesn't mean hold rank, Grandmaster, expert, proficient, capable, instructor, or any positive word. You made a leap in logic.
I can name all the styles I have experienced, but that doesn't mean I can claim experience.

Dale Dugas Herbs: The Best Chinese Herbs & The Best Jow for the Best Price! Style: Jook Lum South Mantis,
I think the person in question will have rank certificates like Ian Prescott has from Ashida Kim. If you want to see them take a look at the thread here: http://www.bullshido.net/forums/show...light=prescott
You will see all the styles that Ian supposedly knows and teaches, NOT!
Would love to meet this GM and show him the floor and the walls and listen to him weep.
