The new Korean Martial Arts Hapkido Association

Has anyone heard of or have any info on the new korean martial arts hapkido association. I'm not sure if im naming it right, but it's along those lines. I just want to know the name of the head master. see if anyone else out there is certified through it, and such.

I heard a rumour late last year about a new Korean based martial arts association being put together that covered TKD, Hapkido and Kumdo. Not sure if this is the one you are referring to or if it even got off the ground.

GM Hwang Deok-Kyu 황덕규 회장님, was the chairman/president of the Korean Hapkido Federation and is now the chairman/president of the new korean martial arts hapkido association. Don't know why this happened, but my master, who is 5th degree Hapkido moved with Hwang Deok-Kyu (having received his 4th degree from Hwang Deok-Kyu when he was at the Korean Hapkido Federation)
you can find their website under koreansinmoohapkido dot org

    Uh, your welcome. :)
There are too many Hapkido organizations. It's silly.
What really matters is the skill and teaching ability of the Hapkido master YOU are training under, and the effort you put into the art.
I study at YK Martial Arts, which is primarily a Taekwondo school, but there are some great Hapkido masters there.

The Uh was for "I posted this 5 years ago" thanks anyway dough. I did manage to find all the info I could including the website. I was curious about GM Hwang Deok-Kyu, since he is my teachers teacher. I was also curious who was GM Hwang Deok-Kyu's teacher.

    Haha, yeah, I figured :)
wow, your teacher was taught by GM Hwang Deok-Kyu? that's awesome, he probably knows more about GM Hwang Deok-Kyu than my teacher does then. Where do you study Hapkido, if you don't mind me asking?

I went to two different schools, but my last one is of question. It was Lee's Martial Arts in Chicago.
