    When I saw this on TV and saw him go limp, I was certain he was going to be carried off the mat (and there was a split second where I thought it looked even more extreme than the starting photo). I couldn't believe it when they showed him up and walking away 30 seconds later.

    And to whoever was boasting about touching his nose to his chest: Good for you. Some people have more flexible spines. However, there is a night and day difference between touching nose to chest, and EAR to chest. Turn the neck and crank it like that, and 99% of us spend the rest of our lives being fed, clothed and cleaned by someone else (if at all).

    It is easy to talk about what "should" have happened. But he should have tapped. Or more to the point, the ref should have stopped it (might have been hard as quickly as this stuff happens). In any event, a sport match isn't worth dying for.
