There's no doubt they've supported the sport and helped get the word out.

The key questions here are: 1.) do they train? 2.) do they claim to be able to fight? I've never seen anything to indicate they think they're badasses. So the problem isn't with the TapouT crew themselves, but with the thousands of posers who don't train, but wear the gear so they can look tough.

I personally don't own sports jerseys, but from what I've seen people who wear the football jerseys etc., don't think they can play like Micheal Jordan etc. or some other sport figure. But I swear I can drive like Micheal Schumacher I just need a Ferrari.

I think O' Sensi's point regarding "tough noobs" cuts to motive. Yes, people can wear TapouT and Affliction b/c they think they are fashionable and still be cool...but if they wear them because they want to look tough, then they are douche bags. To your point about wearing a jersey...if you think the jersey looks cool or if you wear it to a game to support your team, great. If however, you wear the jersey to a flag football game....along with your wide reciever gloves and black eye paint (you know, to keep the sun out of your eyes)...then you are indeed a douche bag.

My wife bought me an Affliction shirt the other day. Those fucking things are actually going for $50?

It's a cool shirt, but goddamn. For that price it should come with a complimentary handjob or something.

My shirt came with a complimentary handjob. Yours didn't? Of course, I bought mine used at a rest stop bathroom.
