Also this guy, http://www.tbotech.com/cage-fighting.htm the claim is that he is undefeated, I know what your thinking, he probably only had one or two fights... well not only has he only had 2 pro fights in his career he has lost one of them, http://www.sherdog.com/fightfinder/f...FighterID=8894
This guy...Tom Proctor...who claims 17-0 in ISCF sanctioned fight, is nowhere to be found in the ISCF database for pro fights: http://iscfmma.com/ISCFPRORankings.htm

Another thread on BS claims proctor was a founder of the ISCF, but the ISCF website does not have himlisted as a board member: http://iscfmma.com/AdvBoard.htm

Here is another BS thread about Proctor: http://www.bullshido.net/forums/showthread.php?t=16590

The most recent news I can find on Proctor is from 2000...an ISCF bout. He apparently was an original founder of the ISCF and Heavyweight US Title holder in 1999 (amateur, if I read it correctly) according to these ISCF news pages:

    http://64.233.169.104/search?q=cache...lnk&cd=4&gl=us

    http://64.233.169.104/search?q=cache...lnk&cd=9&gl=us

I can only find news on 2 Proctor ISCF bouts, not 17. However, one write up has him listed as 18-0. Here are the 2 matches I found news on:
1999 vs Al "dawg" sullivan (which he won)
2000 vs Travis Fulton (a win as well)

I wrote to my contact at ISCF to ask about Proctor.

It seems proctor is no longer involved with the ISCF...at least based on what I can dig up on the net. I can't find anything on him after 2000.

    Regarding Jim West:
I found a Jim West listed as an IKF referee in 2004 here:
    http://64.233.169.104/search?q=cache...lnk&cd=1&gl=us

A Jim West was an IKF Judge here:
    http://64.233.169.104/search?q=cache...lnk&cd=2&gl=us

On this page, there is a claim that Jim West trains UFC Fighters, but the link is dead:
    http://64.233.169.104/search?q=cache...lnk&cd=4&gl=us

I found this thread on another forum which seems to verify West's claim as a UFC coach:
    http://www.selfdefenseforums.com/for...ad.php?t=10532
    Here is a quote:
The first time I saw Jim West on TV was when watching a UFC 13 video. He was one of the trainers who accompanied an Extension Fighting stylist named Steven Graham (making his debut and winning his first fight). His second one, though, he lost to Randy Couture, who was also making his UFC debut and winning the entire tournament. Although Mr. Graham lost and ended up in second place, he already had impressive wins in past MMA events, especially Vale Tudo. It's too bad he didn't stuck around to expand his potential. But them again, this doesn't reflect Mr. West's reputation since thie UFC is a sporting event with rules, not an unsanctioned all-out pit fight. This is just to let you know that I was suprised that he was at UFC 13
This thread claims he is former delta force and a 6th dan in Kempo:

OK, I heard back from the ISCF regarding Proctor. Here is the e-mail (from Jeff Mallot, ISCF World Representative):

No, he is not affiliated. Tom actually started the ISCF in 1999 before Steve bought the rights in May. This is the statement Steve has on the website in regards to Tom and his title. I know for a fact that he trained under Pedro Sauer and received his purple belt in BJJ.

    Tom Proctor
    Mesa, Arizona, USA, 15-0, 6', 205, 11-14-55

Proctor won his title on the first ever ISCF Sanctioned Event on May 22nd, 1999 in in Phoenix, Arizona, USA when he defeated Allan Sullivan at 9:56 by a shoulder lock.

Proctor's Fight Record was in question years after his title was retired. To date, the ISCF and other fight recording sites can only find proof of 3 fights, and a record of 2-1
    .

They cited FCF as a reference: http://fcfighter.brinkster.net:80/fi...ighterID=14578

Proctor was brought up in the second post on this thread. Like West, he promotes TBO Tech self defense products.

Didn't this guy's Magnum moustache once belong to Tom Selleck? Or was it one of the Village People guys in the 'YMCA' song?

Surely nobody can mistrust a man with an upper lip like that. Shame on you all.

(Wait a minute, I go to a YMCA gym - I've finally realised it........I must be... gay! Where's the nearest BJJ club? I need a mandance. .. .NOW ! )
