    Welcome to Bullshido!

As you're in the UK, you might be interested in joining the throwdown group, which aims to keep people updated on UK throwdowns (basically an open mat, if you're unfamiliar with the term). Next one is currently Grimsby in October - we're still waiting on a date and venue for Oxford.

BTW - we're not all chaps. Is there a female version of 'chap' - chapette, perhaps?

    new to site

Hi my name is Brian. I'm currently talking Krav Maga, I was taking JKD until school moved further away from where I'm living. I find some similarities in the two styles.

Prior to that I took Ishinryu at a crappy "belt factory" school, and years ago I was at a school that did a mix of kickboxing, karate and Win Chun.
