    Hell yeah! Hell no!

    ****SPOILER**** Ruthless vs Ninja

That was a fantastic fight in my mind. Looks like Ninja was not only wrong about Lawlers conditioning. But he seemed to gas half way through round two. Lawler put on a boxing clinic but I'd hate to be his legs tomorrow. Rua really nailed him with leg kicks. But all in all it seems playing opossum and working heavy combos won the day. Lawler for the win round three.

Oh yeah, there were a few mid-level orgs with events this weekend. I forgot to post about them.

Michelle Waterson was fighting at ROF I think as well.

Gina Cerrano got her first win by submission as well. BJ's BJJ trainer got TKOed, Diaz won a so so split. But the Lawler fight was definetly the fight of the night.

It also showed why Yamazaki should never be allowed to referee a fight ever again. Ninja was just getting pounded.

Pardon my blatant retardation but which orgs were they?

EliteXC sets a good standard for mma show production.

i'm tempted to start planning trips to attend their shows soon

Ninja did throw many leg kicks, but I wonder why he didn't throw any hard ones. He merely tapped Ruthless's leg with them.

Goldberg does seem a *little* out of his league.

All in all, I thought it was a good show, but two split decisions in one night??!!

I think I've seen one Elite XC event before and I wasn't very impressed (I think it was with Phil Baroni). Things are looking up.

Weren't they owned by Pride / DSE before? If so, I wonder what the situation is now.

Elite has nothing to do with Pride
started in the US, with Gary Shaw

they've slowly but surely acquired a lot of smaller companies like, KOTC, Icon, Cage Rage....to name some of the more well known ones

add Mark Cuban to the mix and hopefully theUFC will soon be forced to live up to the standards that others set in pay scale, treatment of fighters, contracts, etc...
