Shotokan Karate is very good, the instructors are nice and very helpful. They have normal jobs just like everyone else. S.K.A is a Non-profit organization. There is a fee of $50 for a new membership. This fee entitles us to train at any Shotokan Dojo in the USA. We pay $25 a month whenever were financially able to. The $25 helps us pay for the space we train on which is an indoor basketball court with a/c. We have a very small class and many black belt instructors. Some times we have 2 people per one black belt instructor giving us instructions. We do not have to pay for the advancement of belt placement tests such as other Karate schools. It is great for people who are on a tight budget like college students. Its cheap and good old fashion Karate what else can I say.
