Matt Serra Seminar - Oct 20th, Toronto ON

    Hi Everyone,

My name is Shyam and I train out of the Kombat Arts training facility in Mississauga, Ontario. I also have my own line of athletic wear --> www.pound4pound.ca

I previously had BJ Penn down for a Seminar at the end of July. That was met with tremendous success and also enabled me to showcase some of my new gear. (shorts).

Pound4Pound will be bringing down UFC Welterweight Champion, Matt 'the Terror' Serra. Matt will display his unique grappling and Mixed Martial Arts skills that have made him one of the most versatile and talented fighters in the sport.
Autograph/Picture session will follow at the end of the seminar. Matt will also have his Belt on hand!

Matt just did a seminar here in Atlanta and it was awesome. Lots of cool techniques and good transitions not just isolated tricks.

He seems like a very humble guy. Very approachable. I'm actually very interested in watching this season of the Ultimate Fighter after seeing the preview.

    WhiteShark:

Did he do mostly grappling techniques? or was there a lot of striking? How advanced was the stuff he was showing?

It was a Jiu-jitsu seminar not a MMA seminar. Half Gi half No-Gi The techniques had a good variety of difficulty.

For a few seconds, I was trying to figure out what "half gi" was... Tops or bottoms? Sleeveless, maybe?:laughing6
