Just a question based soley on curiosity and my annoying tendency to not take things based on faith alone; is there any proof that pancrase is fake? if so would you direct me to where this is discussed and/or proven?

It's pretty well accepted by everyone that some matches in Pancrase were worked, and some were not. Of course, everyone who fought there will claim that all of their matches were ones that were real. Some of them may be telling the truth. Some Pancrase matches are pretty obviously worked; some are harder to tell.

They learned from pro wrestlers. Ken Shamrock was a "leglock expert" because you can "struggle" for an achilles lock or roll away from a heelhook ad naseum.

The proof is there for all to see. I know it's fake because it's my style. It's crappling. It's power over technique and showmanship over practicality at every turn. If you can't figure it out for yourself, you haven't watched enough Pancrase or grappled enough for real to understand. It's as simple as that.
