UFC Middleweights that would beat Frank Shamrock (in no particular order):
Anderson Silva,
Dan Henderson,
Rich Franklin,
Yushin Okami,
Nate Marquardt,
Dean Lister,
Travis Lutter,
Patrick Cote,
Kendall Grove,
Martin Kampman,
and probably a lot more.
He would probably lose to a lot of the WEC middleweight division too. -

Weird comment. Kinda like saying that Royce sucks. These guys' heyday is passed. Frank spanked Tito, for gods sake!!! It was amazing. Ya gotta respect his achievements, even if his peak has passed.
At least he's not some secret mystery miracle super fighter like Rickson who never made a showing (MMA, that is). He has a 22-8-1 record, & most of his losses were when he was starting out. He's got wins on Bas Rutten and Tito Ortiz and Jeremy Horn.
Jeremy Horn Rules, BTW.Last edited by Jim_Jude; 9/15/2007 8:23pm at .

He's a great natural athlete, and an intelligent, thinking fighter who crosstrains, but he's not at the very very top any more, not because he sucks, but because younger, hungrier guys have perhaps surpassed where he got to, and have more fire.....that said, he's a badass, and it would take one of the world's best to beat him.
He's a serious dude, but I wouldn't put him in the top 10...not far from it, but not at the extreme top. -

FRANK SHAMROCK IS A FUCKING GOD
All who doubt this need only remember that he MADE THE SPORT WHAT IT IS TODAY. In terms of technique, without him, the sport would've lagged behind in the dark ages of one-dimensional shittiness for another decade.
**** the haters, he's the best there is, the best there was, and the best there ever will be.
UFC Middleweights that would GET FUCKING MURDERED BY Frank Shamrock (in no particular order):
Anderson Silva,
Dan Henderson,
Rich Franklin,
Yushin Okami,
Nate Marquardt,
Dean Lister,
Travis Lutter,
Patrick Cote,
Kendall Grove,

Hrm. I largely ignored the list of middleweights until I saw Lister's name. Sorry, but Lister would put a clinic on against Shamrock. And after looking back over it, Henderson would stuff the shoot and punch Shamrock's face in. Even if you chose the nuts in your mouth, Cracky, you gotta push the scrote hair aside for a moment and actually watch Frank training and Dan Henderson/Dean Lister training. I guarantee you could see the demise of Frank there, if you just take a moment off from the teagbag.
