I've seen Smandych fight a few times, the man is a beast.

    Is this on TV somewhere?

I trained with Naruepol and Yodsanklai. Good fighters, but I prefer the European style of Thai fighting, they tend to punch much harder and crisper. When I saw the fights, the good Farangs usually beat the Thai fighters.

I agree...but it's also b/c of the way Thais do their scoring...I forgot how it goes, but it's something like "lowest to highest score"....punches, kicks, knees, elbows...so their scoring system kinda dictates that they fight a different way...then along came the Kaman and Dekkers ;o)

Yeah, their scoring system made my head hurt. I saw fights where I thought one fighter had clearly won, and the judges declared a loss. They also penalize defense in the clinch, they want to see knees flying.
