Why do they use the Chinese word for master when just about everything else is Japanese? Or is that a Ke?po thing?
The master's form in the video looked pretty solid, but that doesn't mean his students look anything like that.
The name is stupid.
LOL @ woodgrain puzzle mats. Stylin'.
LOL @ photoshopping the stripes on the 6th+ degree belts.
"Inner Chi": are they claiming to use "chi attacks" or are they just using the term "chi" to describe inner strength?
Sounds like an okay school. They're not making any claims about helping your fighting ability, so my guess is to check it out in person and see if it's your cup of tea. -

Style: Chinese Kenpo--
Based on the family tree, it looks like an offshoot of Kajukenbo. A lot of kajukenbo people feel that since the Emperados learned directly from Chow and not Ed Parker, that it's a "purer" form of kenpo, whatever that means.
If you're looking for ground and pound, or full contact sparring on a regular basis, this isn't the school for you. It's a much more family oriented setting. The only thing I saw that raised my eyebrows is that BB appears to only take about four years and anybody who had been there at least eight years was no lower than 2nd degree. -
