is MRSA really "flesh eating bacteria?" I thought it was just really strong staph. I was under the impression that flesh eating bacteria destroyed muscle/skin/etc... at a much more rapid pace.
edit: yeah, THIS is flesh eating bacteria. Nectrotizing Fascitis, and it's caused by a streptococcal, not a staphylococcal bacteria.
edit II: and don't think I'm minimizing MRSA. That **** will kill you. It's just not what I have always known to be flesh eating bacteria.Last edited by Wolf; 9/11/2007 8:49am at .
