The only kewl thing i know was from a mauy thai guy, during a clinch one hand goes to the hips, and you sorta twist them so you can still lowkick his leg,it looked like the start of a hipthrow.
At first it looked dangerous because he brought his hand down,but he could do it in such a way that i was really pinned and twisted so punching wasnt that good of an option.

The problem with this is that if you CAN perform it, then the other guy wasn't really in a kicking range and shouldn't have been kicking in first place. That, OR you are lightning fast and are able to bridge the distance AFTER he initiated his kick, which would be awesome but not that realistic.

But let me tell you what I have discovered: there's a couple of chi-gerk movements in judo, I'm serious, I'll try to take some pictures. It makes for some sweet setups.

Chi gerk was originally intended for people that cross-train in judo.

Did I mention how chisau nicely feeds into judo kumikata (grip fighting)?

Actually, I have thought the 1st 3rd of Sil Lim Tao works well as training for BJJ. Swim the arms into the center, don't overextend the arm and move slowly and relax. Stand up or on the ground the movements apply swimmingly to BJJ. OMG, did I just say that? :ingun:

Seriously, look at the first move of siunimtao, the position of the hand as you extend your arm from the center (http://www.wingtsunkungfu.pl/kungfu-ksiazki.html). And now look at the position of Royces hand here
