Did anyone else get reassurance from fighting some karate or tkd dorks? I "tested" my chun against a few ATA TKD people and some shitty karate guys(who keep a hand at the hip while sparring). My god, trapping, and even chain punching worked against people who leave one hand out at a time, and using rising forearm blocks against a chain punch.

BJJ might make you a better ground fighter, but Judo will make you a better dancer.

Hmm..pretty sure it was teh real Ving Tsun or Wing Tsun? I just remember it had a Tsun at the end. My teacher also told us which schools were ok to train at, even though they weren't quite the real one, and which were bad news (they allowed backwards movement, or didn't center the elbows when punching!) Such things are important in the grand scheme of slapping and arm punching.

The exact same thing happened to me.

Then again I may be just looking for excuses. That civilisation may not sink,

Quiet the dog, tether the pony
