anyone play with a back brace?

anyone have experience w/ back braces and grappling? did they severely limit your mobility? did you have to make major adjustments to your style?

I don't use that but I use a neoprene wrap that helps.

But only to a degree. I haven't been training for about 3 months now. I might go tonight but I don't know if I am going to roll

    Be careful

I tried training through my injury for about 2 years.

yeah I'm going really light once I start back. Only going to go over technique, maybe some slight resistance drilling but I won't be rolling for a while.

I'm more concerned w/ how much this brace is going to get in my way.

i have used those types of braces before, but i have never used when while rolling. i guess the worst case scenario is it rides up or gets in some funny position and you call a time out and fix it. i do find back braces the mopst dangerous when you take it off though. you have been accustomed to the extra support and need to be careful right when you take it off since your muscles have not been holding you up a whole lot, just the brace

Remember to tell your opponent about it when sparring, so there's no hijinks about him grabbing it and things going south fast.

well that support doesn't really give any support and it slides around too much. gotta try to find something else.
