help with finding info on Dale Gill in Port Arthur, TX - claiming 38-0 in mma

there is a guy named dale gill in port arthur texas claiming to be 38-0 in mma and said to be quite the ground artist by his own mouth im just checking into this because i nor anyone else can find anything on this guy he claims to be 3 times king of the cage champion also so if you masters out there can hepl do some digging it would be helpful his myspace is http://www.myspace.com/kanomma

Other than the myspace link posted and a profile on his mma club (team apocalyse) I can find no evidence of a 38-0 record , or any fight record for that matter.

No hits on FCFighter or Sherdog's database, but those are by no means exhaustive. It'd help if you could get him to clarify if these are amateur or professional wins, and in which weight class and when he won his KOTC championship. The more information you drag out of a bullshit artist the easier it is to expose them as they have to formulate more and more elaborate lies.

That's a list of pros for the fight team he is supposedly on. Going down the list.....

Dallas Cordts, the supposed 18-0 professional fighter (ninjitsu stylist! and a girl!) doesn't show up on sherdog at all.

Steve Talbot does not show up on sherdog.

Anthony Barbier DOES show up on sherdog, but not as a 23-9 pro. He shows up as 2-8. http://www.sherdog.com/fightfinder/f...FighterID=3698

Dale Gill does not show up on sherdog.

Those were the ones that seemed like they could be suspect at first glance.

If you listen to the guy on the radio show, the interviewer brings up the record discrepancies, and they talk for a minute about sherdog not having the full record of alot of fighters, which is true. However, it does seem somewhat strange that so many guys on that MMA team would supposedly have such great records but still be unrecognized.

That's pretty much the best I can do atm. Would be good if somebody in any sort of contact with this team could give some unbiased info.

Well, if someone wants to call him about this matter do a 411 search for D. Gill, Port Arthur, Texas. I did and found the number but won't post it here. (Hint, he's on Rev Raymond Scott St).

I think the easiest avenue to get to the heart of the matter is to go after his claims of KOTC championship. Definitively proving he's not won 38 fights is much, much harder than definitively proving he's never held a belt in a fairly well-known MMA org.

Unfortunately, it's somewhat harder to get that kind of info on KOTC compared to a big show like UFC or Pride. As in, there might be phone calls during business hours involved rather than some simple googlage. But multiply that by 100 and you know how it is to check out a guy's full record in smaller shows =\. Hence why it not being on sherdog isn't really a bad sign. There are ALOT of pros out there with unrecorded fights. However, I'll say again that it does seem suspicious when multiple guys on the same fight team have such drastically different posted records vs. claimed records. Alot of time on sherdog it's minor...like a guy claims 10-2 and sherdog shows 6-1. But claiming 38-0 and not being on sherdog at all is a little strange. (but again, and I can't stress this enough, it doesn't mean it's not true either)

If they all fought in the same circuits as hey are from the same gym it makes sense the fights were not recorded for all of them. The school hits up a local small org few times and they are all unrecorded. It actually does make sense that all of them have the same discrepancy.

I was thinking that might account for some of it, but honestly it seems like alot of them (especially Dale with 38 wins) would have to have 5+ years of fight experience only in shows for that team with none of those fights ever taking place in another show that was recorded on sherdog.
