I have a leatherman- (e305x for those who care) I dont know the grade, I'll check the site later. It wasn't too pricey and it works well. I wish i could use it more, but in melb i cant carry it. I always used to have it with me, as i used in on the block (dried fruit).
I probly need a new one, but dont really have the money atm.

I've actually had good expirence with 440A, it might not have the edge of an Aus 6a but its more durable in more extreme enivorments.

I carry the same way and have run into said situation. i either place it on the toilit paper dispensor as suggested or once just made shure it was on safe and held it in my hand makeing shure my finger was indexed along the frame.

Well, I ended up going with Cold Steel for my straight blade, and Smith and Wesson for my folder. All in all, including 550 cord to attach it to my IBAS, I spent less than $80.

Seriously though, the extra weight on the other side of my gun belt keeps things balanced. An unbalance gun belt can really jack up your lower back.
