Yea, that looks to me like what WCL is, however, I guess WCL allows face shots.

They're both doo doo, in my opinion.

The fights I watched were unspectacular, minus one exception. There was a black female fighter who was an ex-boxer turned TDK'ist. She could throw some great combos, and since the fighter she went against didn't know what to do they landed. Almost all of the men's fights went to the distance. I only watched their first rounds, I didn't watch them get back for their second time on the mat.

Um, no. Final Fu is continuous light contact point fighting. WCL is full contact and, despite everyone's bitching, it's rules are somewhere inbetween FCR and K1. In fact, it's basically FCR with the addition of limited leg kicks and knees allowed (and minus the kick counting).

I think it is an exciting show to watch, they come from TMA backgrounds, so they do crazy ass kicks and the fights are fast paced. They just need better promotion, they automatically lose point with the MA community becuase it has Chuck Norris attached to it, but with better promotion I think they would do alot better.

It's not bad, but it is more brutal than they care to admit. I've seen more than a few fights where the guy gets up in a daze from an 8 count to get floored. And again. And again.Some of these fights would have ended after the first knock down in MMA/UFC.

I like that Chuck is doing his "family" values with his second, much younger wife. He dumped the first one after she stopped being hot, which I'm sure the kids could relate to. "Hey kids, new mommy loves Jesus much more than old mommy!"
