8th ,9th or 10th degree in any one style would be a lifetime worth of work.
question how old are these instructors? and we should be able to research this there are not that many 8th ,9th or 10th degrees that they can't be verified.
but I think this goes back th toe Mc Dojo concept. look at all the cyber martial arts schools out there. Do you think that if you sent any one of them a dvd of your self working out at say green belt level, with a check for $2000.00. what do you think they would do?
promote you...if the check clears. -

So let me see I want to be a 11th Dan how much would that be ??? LOL -

Or sometimes I think even worse where there is a high ranking master and he never gets out of his office other than to stick his head out the window and has his "advanced" students teach all the classes.
That hapened to me when I was doing Taekwondo my teacher was a 6th Dan and as soon as I got to 1st Dan I got the "pleasure of becoming defacto head instructor " but I was only a 1st Dan myself and the bottom line other than teach me the 2nd dan Poomse never taught me. So I got my 2nd Dan and was teaching almost all the classes and never being taught myself.
Sure I was in great shape and my technique was very good simply by teaching 3 classes a day but hell I was still a student and I wanted to learn and be taught by my instructor.
Needless I got tired of that set up afterawhile.
The same thing happened to a friend of mine and he too left , the difference being
he opened up his own school. -

i must apologize for that comment i didn't mean anything malicious. I am actually very grateful of the jewish people without them i would have no where to wrestle(brooklyn wrestling club). i was just trying to get the point across that this is not the best school to go to.
