How is his record amazing?
He was dominated by the only top five fighter he has faced and had a pathetic win over a sick Sanchez. The rest of the guys are not top tier.
He is a very good fighter but an annoying mother fucker who needs to talk less. I see him as being continually in the running for a title shot but never making it farther than that. -

Well okay, amazing maybe over stating it.
I'd rather not hear him talk but I actually enjoy watching him fight.
His fight with Joslin was very good and I actually enjoyed watching him beat up Diego.

I wouldn't call that a beating. More like a lazy jab fest. He clearly won, but they both should have been disqualified for being boring. Circling and jabbing because you're worried about engaging isn't dominating. Similarly Diego didn't show up with his normal intensity (supposedly he was ridiculously sick). Interestingly the one time Kos tried a takedown he got his back immediately taken.
I like the highlight they showed though. The same one or two punches from different angles to make it looked like anything happened in that snooze fest. -

Bah! He used a tactic that Diego couldn't/didn't anticipate and owned him with (albeit boring) basic Olympic/Amateur boxing. The funny comment about that fight was his corner saying that Josh wanted to do more but they forced him to stick to his game plan. Diego is a stud grappler and him taking the back was predictable.

LOL.
I don't remember BJ or Hughes being able to take Georges down though. That's got to count form something.

Let's compare a bit. Hughes didnt make the distance with GSP, Trigg was destroyed, Sherk was beat down into oblivion.
Kos actually takes GSP the distance. BJ Penn, Jason Miller and Karo Parysian all managed to survive to the decision with GSP. Those 3 are unquestionably top tier fighters.
That puts Kos in some pretty select company. I was impressed at his ability to hold GSP off during portions of the G&P. Though holding his pants to avoid the Kimura was a bit much.
And for the record, I am a huge GSP fan."Sifu, I"m niether - I'm a fire dragon so don't **** with me!" -

- Yeah I was watching the fights with a friend and she kept asking 'What's he saying to the ref?' (during the Kimura attempt). "He's holding his shorts!" pretty funny actually. Nice to see that training with Professor Holanda has rubbed off on George, also nice to hear he's wearing a brown belt now!

Koschek has some good wrestling skills, but he is too one dimensional. His striking may have won him the Sanchez decision, but only because Deigo's striking was even worse.
He is a boring lay-and-pray wrestler who sounds like a little bitch when he talks and looks like he about to cry when he fights.
