Big Jim hit me up about it this morning, but the notice is somewhat short for me, and I'm kinda out of the MMA mindset these days too. I'm still sparring, but I'm more focused on judo now. I'm finding it surprisingly difficult to adapt to tachiwaza, but very enjoyable.
I told Jim I'd possibly enter the next one, but there's some really strong guys over 90 kg, and as you'd remember I'm fairly mellow. Maybe I should try and drop down to below 85....
Alternatively I'd probably do a grappling match, regardless of weight, just because it would be good fun.
Also, my GF doesn't like it when I get punched in the face for some reason. I get no sympathy. -

I wasn't able to attend the fights due to personal commitments this time, but all reports have been very positive.
Paraphrased from the official thread over on infiniteMMA:
C Class Shooto:
Chris Isac defeated Glen Fraser via TKO (Towel Thrown In)
Simon Clough defeated Shane Williams via Submission (Arm-enclosed Choke)
Matty Pennisi defeated Seth Tarrant via KO (Knee).
B Class Shooto Rules:
Nelson Stewart DREW Kei Iwasaki.
Sergio defeated Miter Almeida via Decision.
Gustavo Falcioli DREW Jai Bradney.
Not sure about the other fights.
The buzz is that the next event will be even bigger and better. Daniel Lima and Roy Luxton have a stellar reputation both for their fighting ability, and the caliber of shows they put on. They are doing a lot to promote the growth of Australian MMA.
