I agree. A persons gender doesn't dictate whether they are a good instructor or not.

I myself could care less if they were a male, female or a hermaphrodite. If they were a legit instructor I would be willing to learn from them.

Ok after checking for her instructors...the only information on a Master Ichiro Kobayashi

is about a musical conductor in japan. several pages have the same info but here is one..http://http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ken-Ichiro_Kobayashi

Now she is saying that she recieved ranking up to 5th dan from this guy in Eishin Eyu.
But talks about how she would play DVDs of Ken Penland demonstrating techniques to her class then teach what was on the DVDS.

Now my question is if you are 5th dan why would you use dvds of someone you admittingly never trained under to teach a class?

good question.. i can prove the kenpo is BULLSHIDO. steve crawford is only a 1st dan in kenpo under chuck sullivan. and can honestly say that all the shorinji ryu stuff had to have gone under george alexander,(ken penland didnt do anything for the association the last couple of years before he passed to my understanding). as far as the ninjitsu, ive been trying bto find the info she claims, no luck yet

Want to know why you haven't had any luck yet? Because there is no info, it's all fake B.S crap.

This quote explains it all:

Master Nakashima did not feel that the Tomo Ryu Shinobi-no-jutsu methods of ninja combat should be taught openly. He felt that the Tomo Ryu methods had to be passed on, but remain a secret and hidden in martial training.
