I grew up in poverty and have never robbed anyone. And to level the field even more I was raised by a single mother who had to work 3 jobs to feed my brothers and I. On top of that, when I was around my father he beat me like a stray cur dog. So I guess from what you are saying, I'd be justified in robbing people and beating my children. I thank god I joined the military and got to see what growing up "rough" really is. The next time you want people to feel sorry about your shitty life maybe you should take a trip to Somalia, Bosnia, Afganahell or to just about 90% of the rest of the planet.

I never said they justified it dickhead, I said they influenced it, don't put words into my mouth.

Edit: And where the **** did I mention my life at all? Get over yourself.

People influence themselves.... period. Social, economic & dogmatic situations aren't a excuse for poor moral judgement.

I mentioned myself because I am tired of hearing that poor, abused kids from single parent households are some how designed to be criminals, maladjusted or otherwise incapable of acting like a civilized human. I only called you on your half assed, bleeding **** sociological interperetation because it's old, tired and completely false. Go choke yourself.

Again, where did I mention that they excused it? Or for that matter, where did I state that all or even most poor people are destined to be criminals? ALL I IMPLIED IS THAT IT'S MORE MEANINGFUL TO LOOK AT ECOMOMIC FACTORS THAN RACIAL ONES WHEN TALKING ABOUT CRIME.

Now you go **** yourself you self righteous ****.

You disagree with that statement then? Burnt many crosses lately?

You've attributed an entire (and apparently inferior by your standards) political and socioliogical ideolgy to me from one little sentence. I am full of ****, but not for the reasons you think.

I see you've pulled out the trump card. Calling me a racist. Not much farther to fall now till you just admit your example was bullshit.

What? I'm just doing what you did to me, inventing an entirely ficticous position and attacking that.

This thread should be retitled "How Do Make MMA Race Bait?"

I'm not a fan of BET, largely because everything they've done has had such shitty production values, but I'm reserving any judgement about this show until it airs. Supposedly, some decent talent, largely ones unsigned by any of the major promotions, have participated in the tryouts, at least according to a thread on the underground. It COULD be bad, but it COULD also open up a new market of fans in a positive way.
