I have put together an online petition that I would like people to sign and pass on (PLEASE ONLY SIGN ONCE). When I have enough names, I'll print this off and mail it with a well written and researched cover letter. Thanks in advance to all those that contribute.

    Here's the petition...

No kneeing/kicking to the head is bad...

"No kicks to knees", do they mean leg kicks or are they just retarded?

throws/takedowns/sweeps are legal, but slams are not? wtf?

those are sort of understandable... but "no hammerlocks" is about the most retarded thing i've ever heard.

and 10 count is just dangerous.

I hate to be a wet blanket, but no one ever listens to Internet petitions. They lack the legitimacy of "paper" petitions because the paper petition signatures are typically sworn under penalty of perjury and traceable to a real person.

I signed the thing, but politicians typically toss these in the garbage.

I'm a little worried about the begging after signing too. It makes it look like you have to donate to continue contributing to the petition.

I talked to some of the fighters at my gym about this. They brought up another real problem with these rules. A lot of amateurs will go pro too soon to fight under real rules.
