    Hell yeah! Hell no!

    Handkerchiefs in FILA rules?

I happened to read FILA grappling rules recently:

    http://www.fila-wrestling.com/images...egulations.pdf

The grapplers shall carry a handkerchief with them during the whole of the match and shall show it to the referee before the start of the match.

    /../

The referee stands in the inner circle and calls the two wrestlers to his side and asks them to raise both arms in the air holding their handkerchief in the right hand.
Does anybody know what's with the hankies?

I believe they use those hankies to clean up certain bodily fluids. :zicon_ele

Yeah, they're sometimes called bloodrags in wrestling.

If you start to bleed, you whip out your rag out of your singlet, wipe it off, and you get back to wrestling.
