...can we get verification on the alias? Since, Layn Von Erich aka Ralph Castillo is a purported "MMA" Champion with no verifiable amateur nor pro fight record....how did he fare? Maybe he fought in those Nicaraguan underground cage fights with Tiger Clay?
How did the "MMA Champ" fare in his 1st verifiable fight? KO/Decision? -

I was there. I don't remember every fight, but a guy named Ralph Calvillo fought in match #1. He is listed as hailing from North Dallas, 155lbs, 0-1 record, with his style listed as JKD(Bruce Lee), fighting for a team called 'Boneyard'. Though I do not remember this fight per se, if this is him then he got beat bad and quickly as the first 3 fights were all over in under a minute and there were no questionable stoppages all night.

In Texas, knees to the head are completely legal unless you are the ground. I remember watching the first 3 fights(as my guy fought 9th and there were 2 intermissions before his fight so we watched the first 5 fights and then we went backstage to wrap his hands and warm him up), but I can't remember them exactly other than they were over quick and there was a clear winner in each of them. I can say for certain that no one was introduced as Layn Von Erich.

but I can't say either way as I wasn't there to see the fight.
Maybe one of you can comment if there was in fact a dispute over the decision.
