If the AJJ gym doesn't work out, I can probably find you a good gym in Omaha, though I'd have to run it by some people first. There's a Vaghi BJJ school, and Erik Paulson associated JKD school, and a huge gym that I lift at that would likely help out, along with a BUNCH of pro fighters that may help out if I asked them far enough ahead of time. Just something I thought I'd throw out there.
*Edit-If anybody gets the urge, they're more than welcome to come down of their own accord anytime.

I'll attend, if this is still being planned, and depending on the new date. I'm pretty green, so you guys can use me as the punching bag. As long as no one does that knee to my nose crap, and I get to wear 50 pounds of protective gear.

Is there a set date for this, or did I miss it already?

No ****. Same here. I just keep getting fatter.
And that's when I figured out that tears couldn't make somebody who was dead alive again. There's another thing to learn about tears, they can't make somebody who doesn't love you any more love you again. It's the same with prayers. I wonder how much of their lives people waste crying and praying to God. If you ask me, the devil makes more sense than God does. I can at least see why people would want him around. It's good to have somebody to blame for the bad stuff they do. Maybe God's there because people get scared of all the bad stuff they do. They figure that God and the Devil are always playing this game of tug-of-war game with them. And they never know which side they're gonna wind up on. I guess that tug-of-war idea explains how sometimes, even when people try to do something good, it still turns out bad.

I've only been training about 7 months, but I'll attend. Set a date already. I wont help out much, but I'd love to learn and you can kick my ass all day. Sounds fun.

Anyone wanna pony up and set a date. April's out, maybe March/May?

Go for it.
I am sure to injure myself before then...again...but go for it.
May is probably best.

Ok, let's try for the (pulling an arbitrary date out of a hat) 3rd Saturday in May.
Who can make this?
