He had to go to the hospital, not sure if he got carried off...he was knocked out...woke up and thought the fight was still going.
And that's when I figured out that tears couldn't make somebody who was dead alive again. There's another thing to learn about tears, they can't make somebody who doesn't love you any more love you again. It's the same with prayers. I wonder how much of their lives people waste crying and praying to God. If you ask me, the devil makes more sense than God does. I can at least see why people would want him around. It's good to have somebody to blame for the bad stuff they do. Maybe God's there because people get scared of all the bad stuff they do. They figure that God and the Devil are always playing this game of tug-of-war game with them. And they never know which side they're gonna wind up on. I guess that tug-of-war idea explains how sometimes, even when people try to do something good, it still turns out bad. -

I am still side lined from any training due to health issues so I couldn't participate in any sparring but since this one is only what 3-4 states away *GRIN* I would love to show up and watch and learn. However, due to my current situation I can't commit to being there.
Since I am rather new, how about a little help on location.. KC? We talking Kansas or MO and what is the name of the motel and street it is on. -

Well I guess we'll have to reschedule for sometime next year. By then, we should have a better facility from which to work.
Shar: It would have been/will be in in Overland Park, KS. Right south of Kansas City proper by about 5 minutes. -

This isn't a good time for me either, mostly due to my financial situation. I just started working for a newspaper making ads but it's part-time until they expand their operations a few months from now. (I also susbstitute teach) I am putting together a proposal for a comic book company. I'll finally get that done by the end of the month. When that works out I will be able to afford whatever and travel whenever I want as long as I get my drawings in on time. As soon as I get a job I can depend on I will buy a car that would make it to Kansas City and hire a nurse to hang out next door with my parents.
Until then I am stuck in Indiana.
Also, my training has suffered this summer due to me taking care of my parents all the time. Things have been real hectic with my parents having health problems. I was the one taking care of them most of the summer. They are doing pretty good now. I plan on starting to train full-time and joining a local BJJ/JKD club by the end of winter. Next summer sounds like a better time for me.
