I'm so proud, I just have to post this. This is the FIRST fight of Rodrigo de Almeida, in which he owns his opponent in six seconds. He is one of the high level capoeira players in our group that has decided to compete in MMA. Unfortunately, this clip isn't long enough to showcase all of his skills, but hopefully his next fight will be longer.

The street argument is retarded. BJJ is so much overkill for the street that its ridiculous. Unless you're the idiot that picks a fight with the high school wrestling team, barring knife or gun play, the opponent shouldn't make it past double leg + ground and pound - Osiris

Great overhand. Also, those BMAC sweatshirts have become iconic.

Well, can't really argue with that!
I was wondering if he was really a capoeira guy, until those flips after the KO.

The way he arced his body into the punch looked like he was actually getting ready to follow up with some type of awesome capoeira kick. Would have been cool to see the guy get destroyed by an aerial.
