ScyberMonk,
Those are some horrid videos .
Even tho they clearly illustrate how untrained but committed people tend to end up on the ground and how a large part of the fighting game can't just be "worked out" through trial and error .
I find it very hard to believe anyone involved in your group has had any striking or grappling training . I would be embarrassed to have vids like those up . Hell I am embarrassed that you have those vids up .
You need to stop teaching and start learning . -

Since the sparring vids have been discussed already, I'll just toss this in: I'm surprised no one mentioned the sword videos either.
I'm no expert, but I studied iaido for about 18 months and have some good friends who are high-level kendo/iaido practioners.
The sword work in the videos looked "polished" (reasonably choreographed)... but it also looked like it was based entirely on the Highlander movies... -

Scrapper is a good guy.
He will stand by what he said. For me the only apology you'd get would be if you did well in a tournament. I've seen to many people "pay" for endorsements so, you suddenly having proof wouldn't work for me.
I've met to many big guys like you. The do exactly what you did. They surround themselves with smaller guys and talk a big game. They rely on power instead of skill which, is horribly wrong. You need both if you can manage it. Yet, if you are lacking in one you need to make up for it with another skill set.

There is so much wrong with the videos we would be here for years.

There is a video of a push punch. Yes, using the same exact mechanics. It is horrible.

I`m not sure if anyone has noticed this yet or not so if its a rehash I apologize, but all the video's under the "Firsty Spars" heading in the austrailian video sections are scybermonk.
I think this one has about got to be my favorite.

Nothing like slamming a girls head into the mat with a trashy bullshido version of osoto gari when she is pretty much just standing straight up looking scared as ****.
Now this next one is simply a must watch.

Amazingly I think I can say that your dancing technique is far superior to your fighting technique. -

I'm not sure how it works in Australia but I can say with a pretty high level of confidence that I would pound your fat face for treating women like that in a dojo, bar & grill, or whatever the **** you want to call it.

Firstly hello! I'm Martin from Ireland.
You think those vids are bad?
Check this
http://www.musashisbarandgrill.com/g...garufirsty.swf
It looks to me like that girl has been knocked out not to mention the possible wrist damage. This is on one of his "Firsty Matches"
I've lurked here for years and never felt the need to register until I read through thread. I can't add anything that other's havn't but in short this guy is just plain dangerous to his students in the worst possible ways.

Train. Hard. With someone who knows what they are doing.
Hopefully, you'll get your ass handed to you in controlled conditions and realise how utterly laughable your self-styled mastery is.
Lather.
Rinse.
Repeat.
I harbour you no ill will, but you're a 26 year old guy playing dress up and pretend.
Dress up is for the bedroom (or comic conventions, apparently) and pretend is for LARPing shams.
Good luck. -

Guys I urge you to check the link I pasted above, I can't stop watching it. I'm nearly certain he knocked a girl out half his size on her first night. Even if she wasn't knocked out the "Technique" could easily have caused a broken wrist/neck or a dislocated shoulder.
Speaks for itself tbh, I only hope he bumps into someone that causes him enough damage to end his "Teaching" career before someone apart from him gets seriously injured.
Martin.
