I don't think this has any relation to North Korean Gyeoksul, but I may be wrong.
And I still think it's oxymoronic to put Sul and Do in the same name...

Style: Tukkong, Gongkwon Yusul
Many of the specialist units in the Korean military (Marines, Rangers, Commandos, UDT, etc), used to train in their own variations of martial arts. Basically, they were all very similar, however, they would give their own names to the styles in question. In the early to mid-1990s, a limited number of dojangs began to pop up after these guys left the military.
When I first trained in Hapkido, I remember people telling me they had trained in certain styles during their military service. These were all styles I had never heard of.
Whilst the website post is related to a South Korean martial arts association, Errant is also correct in that Gyeoksul is the North Korean art.
