Hello, I am new to this forum and was wondering if there was anyone here from the Se-Jong TKD system.

Are you saying Master Ameris studied under Father Connolly?

I have trained with Master Ameris on several occasions. How I know him is not important. If you really want to find out, there are threads devoted to that here.

Isn't "se-jong" Korean for "hajime"? I never saw it romanized so I could be way off, but our command to "begin!" sounded like se-jong.

    That's Shijak.

Sejong was the king who came up with Hangul.

Icic. One of the times I trained with Master Ameris, he was wearing a Sejong dobok.

Since you appear to be the only one here who practices this style, why don't you tell us a bit about it.
