Glad to hear Ed now a Brown Belt, last I hear he was a purple belt.

Anyway, the interviews asked him for his opinions, he gave him. He didn't come off as "I know all" just "hey, this is what I think." He makes some good points and some meh opinions.

He got his brown belt, at an advanced age, at that. He's got a right to his opinions, right or wrong.

    I close it at this.

I'm impressed as hell that he's a brown belt. Didn't know he trained.

As far as his opinions - whatever. He's a gracie nutrider. But at least he's a brown belt nutrider.

When someone's trying to take you down, punching doesn't look as pretty. How is this hard to understand?

And has this guy never heard of Anderson Silva or Fedor? Both of them have both great stand up and ground work.

I'm impressed that as an working actor he persisted that long being on location for movies and filming tv probably slowed him down. He has love for his art and is pretty humble about it.

The main point I agree with is that standing up the fighters takes away from the ground fighting game, but to continue to have the sport sanctioned it is a good compromise.

Wow...i'll never look the same at him again!
Who could have thought he was a brown belt!
Someone like him must have a lot of dedication to train for 15 years with a demanding job like he has.

I think he made good points about the rules in UFC.

I agree with all his pints just not his conclusions which come down to personal opinion.

I don't want MMA to be a street fight, but a sport.

Plus everyone has their hands wrapped and gloved so they all have the same advantage.

He's probably got enough money that he can take a private lesson whenever he feels like, which can make up for a demanding job a bit.

Not saying he's super rich but he's got to have a little chunk of all those MWC re-runs
