    Hell yeah! Hell no!

Sherdog's got Top Ten rankings now

    http://www.sherdog.com/news/articles.asp?n_id=8577

For those who don't give a crap about their reasons, here's the rankings.

Fedor, Nogueria, Napao, Crocop, Barnett, Couture, Sylvia, Arlovski, Werdum, and Aleks for the HWs

Shogun, Rampage, Hendo, Liddell, Wandy, Sokou, Arona, Nogueria, Rashad, and Jason Lambert at LHW

Silva, Filho, Hendo, Franklin, Lindland, Marquardt, Kang, Okami, Lawler, and Trigg at MW

Serra, GSP, Hughes, Kos, Diego, Fitch, Karo, Aoki, Jake Shields, and Carlos Condit at WW.

Gomi, Melendez, Kawajiri, Shaolin, Shek, Ishida, Joachim Hansen, Aurelio, Calvancanti, and Penn at LW.

They also have feather, bantam, and flyweight rankings, and they mentioned why Yamamoto doesn't appear on any of the rankings (hasn't recently fought at 145 and doesn't have a strong enough record at 155 for ranking).

Not surprising, there's some stupid picks. Serra #1 at 170 in the world? Sherk #5 lightweight? Hendo over Liddell at 205?

    Thoughts?

Why is Henderson over Liddel stupid?

Because, excluding the Wandy fight, he's not fought at 205+ since 2005. Granted, him beating Wandy decisively places him above Silva, but not above Chuck. But as it is, it's consistent with the logic they lay out in the beginning of the article, in so much as the unification fight between Hendo and Rampage coming up and the fact that Hendo does have a record at 205.

Yeah, me calling that stupid was a bit of a knee-jerk reaction. It's not stupid when you compare it to Serra being at #1.

When Serra crushes Hughes will he at least be top 3 in your mind? :)

I agree putting Serra at the top is a little odd. I'm a huge fan, but I wouldn't quite put him at the absolute best.

I really hope he does. I like that little bastard.

BJ Penn at 10 is a joke. Either rank him in the top 5(based on talent) or don't rank him at all(he hasn't fought a top 10 lw in 3+ years).

Of course. You take out the two top welterweights one right after the other, you belong at #1. :5badair:
