Question about my diet using Fitday program.
These are my stats.
I weigh 170 and am 5'11
Calories Burned Today
Calories Eaten Today
I burned more calories than I have consumed. Is this bad? I've always heard that the average diet should be 2000 calories daily. However, this thing says that I burned 3538. The only goal I have is to not be malnourished. Idc about gaining weight or losing weight, I just don't want to be malnourished and not know it. So do I have to consume 3538 calories everyday since that's the amount I burn daily? Or does eating around at least 2000 is fine?
To maintain your current body weight you need to take in as many calories as you use. That kind of difference will result in a mass loss of weight.
Im not familar with the Fitday programme but you might want to look how it calculates calories burnt and how accurate it is. My experience with programmes that work out calories is that they tend to be highly inaccurate.
Is 3538 the number burned just from exercise or from everything your body does in a day?
And either way you should at least eat as much as you burn if you want to keep your weight the same.
