Guy Who Pays the Bills and Gets the Death Threats Style: MMA (Retired)--
Don't know what to make of that fight. It looked like they both desperately wanted to clinch with each other, but an invisible force kept them from doing it.

Personally, I think the show is ****. The only thing worth a damn, sort of, is the fight at the end. I'm talking about all of the episodes. Each episode is run the same way.
Start Show: Learn the good way to do everything.
Middle of the Show: Decide it's not enough and go study at some temple and learn a bunch of shitty techniques that have no use in real life under the guise of, "We're going to this temple to learn the one technique that will help us win!."
End Show: Fight, without using anything they learned in the middle portion. -

Overall, I liked the episode, as I have with every episode thus far, however the end fight seemed less exciting then the previous two. Not the entire episode, just the final match-up.
I don't know whether it was the style, the ruleset (no head punches), the lact of mitts (which caused them to be more concerned with hand injuries) or the Bill the combatant. If memory serves, Bill is a brown in Judo, correct? That's probably why he wanted to grab hold of the Okinawan fighter and throw him.

In all of the build up fights at the beginning they showed the kicks to the head, yet when it came to the final "Kumite" that was supposed to pit our hero against their Champion, There were no head level kicks. Considering the skill the 2nd degree Black Belt has, and the pace the other Okinawans fought at, I can't believe he didn't even attempt it. The build up talked about how devestating they were, and that they were legal.
